Superior Futura Hard Anodised
Hard Anodising was first developed by Russian scientists to produce a metal surface tough enough for space travel. The same technology is used by Futura to make Hard Anodised Cookware. The Hard Anodised surface is harder than steel with wonderful properties for cooking.
4.06 Extra Thick Heavy Gauge
The 4.06 mm extra thick base and sides of the Cook-n-Serve Bowl spread heat evenly and retain warmth for a long time – making it an excellent utensil for both cooking and serving.
Food tends to not burn or stick on the hard anodised extra thick base.
Cook with Less Oil
The 4.06 mm extra thick hard anodised base allows you to use less oil for more healthful cooking.
High-Gloss Exterior Finish
The exterior surface of the bowl is polished so that you can place the dish on your table with pride. Properly used, the Cook-n-Serve bowl will stay looking new for years.
Wash with mild soap and warm water- do not wash in a dishwasher!
Metal-Ladle Friendly
The protective hard anodised surface is stronger than steel. So you may use metal ladles for cooking in the Futura Hard Anodised Cook-n-Serve Bowl with complete peace of mind.
Well-Fitting Lid
The well-fitting, snug-fit lid helps retain heat/steam effectively and locks in the flavours. It also keeps the food hot for a longer time when served on the table.
Uniquely Designed Lid Handle
The lid handle is uniquely designed – it is long enough to accommodate the thumb and fingers comfortably when gripped. The handle base flares outwards to minimise the chances of your fingers coming into contact with the hot metal lid during cooking
Firmly Fixed Stay-Cool Handles
The handles are firmly fixed with strong rivets to the extra-thick body and wont come off or wobble.
Designed to stay cool and be comfortable to hold.
Heat Sources
The Cook-n-Serve Bowl is suitable for domestic gas, electric, ceramic and halogen cooktops.
The Hawkins Test Kitchen
The Test Kitchen writes instructions for the user, develops recipes and solves customer problems. Established in 1984, it has since then tested hundreds of products before launch. The Test Kitchen tests products from the consumer’s point of view. If a prototype has some issues at the testing stage, the Test Kitchen sends it back to the R&D Centre for improving the design.
